After massively rejecting it, the elected officials of Bar-sur-Loup vote for "a reasonable budget" for the municipality

It's a budget that was passed by forceps. After a pointless secret ballot on April 14 , the elected members of the Bar-sur-Loup municipal council agreed to approve the new version of the preliminary budget for the 2025 financial year.
Mayor François Wyszkowski presented in detail a balanced budget under conditions approved by the Local Authorities Code.
Before the vote, the majority municipal councilor, Delphine Carosi, declared:
"I will not go over the reasons for our refusal to vote on the budget previously [there were eleven votes for and as many against, as well as one blank ballot]. However, I note that they have been heard and we find ourselves faced with a reasonable budget, more sincere and democratic."
A show of hands with one abstentionThus, the chief magistrate announced 8,336,335 euros for the operating section and a little over 3 million for investments (5,537,704 euros in revenue), compared to almost 4 million in the previous rejected text.
Investments have been revised downwards, and this is what the opposition and part of the majority were demanding.
This time, the elected officials voted by a show of hands, approving the budget by a majority, with opposition councillor Stéphane Bonnouvrier abstaining.
"You have removed important positions... We had requested a commission for the stadium parking project," he points out.
"For now, this is a geotechnical study of this project, and the architects of the French building code have approved the location for this parking lot," the mayor retorted.
The grants to the associations were voted on one by one, some approved unanimously and others by a majority.
The total amount allocated is 49,500 euros, to which should be added 20,000 for the festival committee, which is bound by an agreement with the municipality.
